Photography Competition: Thank You & Well Done!
The photography competition of summer 2008 was very successful, with some great images submitted from projects around the globe. Thanks to all those who submitted photos, and congratulations to those who submitted the 14 images which will now be displayed at photography exhibitions across the country.
EWB-UK's National Conference: thank you!
For the third time in its history, Engineers Without Borders UK members from around the UK came together for its annual conference. From a base in the Peak District, the conference was about inspiring, engaging and, importantly, listening.
Increasing access to cooking stoves in Nepal
Nigel Vaz spent three months as a volunteer in Nepal, aiding to design an awareness programme for increasing the access of the poor to the locally suitable improved cooking stoves, ensuring the priority "was to do something for those who did not have access to it"
