Branch Highlights
- Members of EWB Bristol took part in a project in the summer of 2006 to optimise and control urban Cuban water in the capital, Havana, as featured on the BBC News website.
- Members from the EWB-Glasgow branch impressed us all with their innovative reverse osmosis water purification device. Their new organisation, Red Button Design, won the support of all 5 Dragons on Dragons Den on the 17th December 2007. View a clip of the show.
- Steven Gerrard, a member of EWB Cambridge helped to devise a simple nipple shield that prevents HIV transmission from a breast-feeding mother to her child whilst at the IDDS summit at MIT. His story was featured on the BBC News website on 22nd September 2008
