Students - Get Involved!

Students form the backbone of Engineers Without Borders UK. They run the organisation, set up and carry out the training, placements, research projects and more.

How to become involved

Students are knowledgeable and enquiring; they have real skills to offer and there are many ways in which they can offer those skills.

We encourage students to get involved with their local branch so they can find out more about us. Alternatively join the community space to make contacts and friends. sign up for our training courses, apply for a project or placement, or get in touch with any of our teams,

What's in it for me?

Involvement with the organisation helps students develop management skills, good knowledge of sustainable development and an passion for humanitarian work. We find that students that get involved with EWB-UK get more inspired about engineering, do better academically and end up in the best and most interesting jobs.
